Hey guys, I'm a huge fan of car audio, just found this website and figured I'd join. I do not know a whole lot but I guess enough to get by. This will be a great learning experience. Anyhow I'm out of west texas, I drive a 2005 Tahoe, I have two digital design 1512 subs, in a custom ported box on a digital design m80 amp 800W RMS. Custom Sound Works in Lubbock, TX did my work. It hits pretty hard and very clean just from my experience I recommend DD subs out there to anyone looking for some quality, hard hitting bass! Well this looks like an awesome website! Hope to get some good info and enjoy chattin' it up with you guys!

They are a bit pricey but I got a great deal on my setup, 1100 for everything installed. That's a pioneer deck, amp, wiring, built box, and the two subs. Here is a pic of the deck, with bass controller, the box and subs, and a pic of the ride when i had limo tint all around.
hmmm i heard about a couple shops doing a package deal like that, my friend got it. but when i looked at his wires...they were very well below the quality of wires you would even get at the swap meets...but if you got good wires too, then thats good it definitely looks good tho man
Wires are good bro, nice gauge, the shop I went to was in the top 100 audio installers in USA in some magazine. Custom Sound Works Lubbock, TX. Micheal Jones owns the shop, loudest car in the world in 2005 175 dB. They did great work for me had this system hitting to its limits daily for over a year and it hits just as hard as the day I got it. Excellent people to do business with, very insightful if you need information too!
