ok got an MA audio competition series amp powering my 2009 memphis mojo 12'' in a ported box built to specs. the sub is dvc 2ohm. the amp pushes it only hooked up to one voice coil but i had 2 powerbass extreme 12''s on a 500 memphis amp an they were a little louder. heres the stats on my amp. do you think with a better amp i would get alot louder? the 2 12's were louder cause you had more cone area. if you had 2 D2 subs you can get it way louder than the previous set up. or you can get a 1Ω stable amp and send it more power. the choice is yours. i saw what the sub cost. you can get a good 1 ohm sub amp for around the same price. you can do either.
yea i didnt pay near what the dealer sells for i got it offa kid with that ma amp. the amp used to be mine then i sold it and bought it back. i only gave 420 for both of em. i was plannin on buying a memphis pr 1.1000 to power it at 1 ohm.
