In the next few months, I plan on getting a second DC Lvl 4 15" and I've been thinking about several amps that would push them and I was looking for some input for you guys. Since the Lvl 4 only comes in dual 2 ohm models, I have to find an amp thats going to do the rated at 2 ohms or .5 ohm, keep in mind this will be a daily set up. Which one do you guys think I should go for? Amps I've been looking at: MMats 3000.05, Audioque 2200d, Crunch GP3000d.. I'm open to suggestions and comments.
yeah i saw your other posts, your right they are not pretty at all, but for the money and power.... id hit that! lol
Look into the sundown 2000. Im getting ready to clamp mine tonite or tomorrow at .5 ohm. It does around 2500-2600 at .5 ohm at 14.4 volts.
i didnt mention sundown for a few reasons...it seems like so many people are running them lately and they are way more expensive than the AQ, pretty much double the price. if im going to pay 600+ or anything in that range for an amp, i would really have my eyes set on the mmats 3000.05d
yeah and for the price, im not sure if you can beat it. i emailed a rep today and he said that a lot of people run their amps .5 daily and have no problems, it just voids your warranty lol
