I know my fair share of car audio but do not know everything. So I came here for some advice. I want to install 4 tweeters in my truck. But id like to have them on a toggle switch so I don't have highs all the time. This may sound stupid but during the summer we use my truck for music on the beach. And whats better then having a loud truck with High Quality sound? So my question is can I just wire all the tweeters to a 8 pole toggle switch or how would I do this?
more than likely. i know if i run them off an amp i can just wire a switch with the remote. but for now with no amp?
i had mine set up that way for a little while. I had a toggle switch where i could chose for inside or outside listening. I had DLS tweets on the dash and another set of DLS tweets in the sail panels. If i wanted to listen to music outside the car i would just switch to the tweets in the sails. both were connected to the amp and the switch would cut off the dash tweets when playing the tweets in the sails and vice versa.
sorry guys... I've been busting my but lately. I've been going out of town for the past 3 weeks so I don't have a lot of time to go online. by next week i'll be back in my office so i'll be back to my usual routine
