    i asked around and i found out there is a guy in my town that can rewind my alt for more amps. We couldnt get a name and the guy that knew him wasnt with us. i will find out sometime soon tho. tomorrow or the next day.

    finally got everything to work and it sounds like total ass! 4 12's output should be tremendously different from 1 12. right? well its not. whats the easy way to see if a sub or 2 is out of phase. the box is a real b**** to get out so i dont wanna have to check the wires. can i just tell by air comin out of the port? if there aint any than its out of phase right? i need to hear these 12's before winter hits hard cause Lila is gettin parked this time.

    i cant focus on all of them. lol. ill just take em out on saturday and rewire them all. Then i will hopefully be bumpin hard! if this is how hard they are all gonna hit, im gonna sell em and go with 2 AQ HDC3 15's instead.

    IT WORKS! and it hits dam hard! I would give you guys pics but it is really ugly right now. I need to throw some carpet on and tidy up the wiring. Also gotta add an amp for the front speakers. They can't go very loud until they start distorting.

    4 subs? im jealous :( get a HO alt soon! and dont just get a rewind, i hear that isnt as effective.

    i got a second battery now and my lights dim just a tiny bit... i dont think one is needed right now.

    dude can't wait to see some pics!
    all I have hooked up now is one of my 15's in a sealed box in a 99 single cab chevy extreme, but it still slams! but try to get some vids soon!

    me too, i had 4 subs, but they was small..lol. i took em out again and went with the 15. this time right under the rear hatch facing up.

    i def need more power. need to save my pennies!!

    thank you. I will carpet the box tomorrow, and do an amp rack. I am sick so I am staying hme from school, and to me its just another opporotunity to work on my car

    I'm with ya on the being sick part man, I've been running a fever and been sick, no one is even at my school hardly last week there was over 120 students absent everyday, one day there was 160. it sucks, but I've been just working on my truck since the school doesn't want me to go. lol.

    nice nice NICE jonny! i just had to replace my batt today with a new one(same).

    i wish i had a closed off area for more batts too. the batt shop that checked my batt has inexpensive rebuilt ones for 20 each. some of my friends use cheap batts in their setups with no probs.

    i want to do something like this....

    walled with 4k on 2 18's tuned to 28HZ. was nuts!!! played as low as 17HZ loudly i might add!

    its an exact copy of my truck too!

    well, my birthday is in 15 days (November 5th) and i dont really know what i want. I was thinking either a new amp for my mids and highs and miscellaneous wires, a new HU, or like an EQ or something. I really have no idea. What do ou guys think i need for my system now?

    if i power mount 2 of the subs do i switch the pos and neg around to put them 180degrees out of phase?
