Need advice on sub enclosure idea

    Hey I have a 07 focus with a nice deep trunk. I was wanting to build an enclosure to house two 8" kickers for mids as well as a ten inch for lows how would i go about doing this to make it sound good without anything clashing.

    please any advice would be greatly appreciated :huh:

    you want your mids behind you? or did i read that wrong?

    so you want to put 2 8 inch for midbass and 1 10 inch for bass and put them all in the trunk??? I used to have a Thunderbird with Oz Audio CS130 in the front doors and 10 inch Oz woofers in the rear seat area and 2 12 inch woofers in the trunk. Its going to depend on where you plan on putting your 8's and the crossover settings. They are sometimes very similar in frequency response depending on the woofer and the enclosure.

    I understand now

    I got it now my next question is what will sound cleaner two 8's or two 10's for sub bass

    either can sound great in the right box. i run 4 8's myself tuned low for music.
