Hey guys, im new here so just want to say a quick hello and was wondering if you could help me out. I've heard JBL speakers are great quality for the price and deliver descent enough sound. i am looking at buying this 4 corner pack

    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-5-four-corner-pack.html

and then adding these tweeters to the set

    http://www.incar-emporium.com/product_info.php?currency=GBP&products_id=1415

Is there anything i need or will the tweeters connect straight up to the amp? i dont know if i need a crossover? bass block? cap? i really don't know.

If you guys think there would be a better set up for under £200 then please could you help me out?

    thanks alot

Welcome.. those speakers already have tweets in them... why would you want another set of tweets?

CC im sure it cause the speakers in the doors are way down low so adding another tweet up high can raise the sound stage a bit.

they look to have xovers built in. so you can wire them in with the front speakers with out any probs.

Your almost right, the speakers are to be put into a defender, and the only place they can go is under the dash pointing into the foot well which is just no good for the tweeters.... do you guys think it will be worth doing?

    thanks again

Cheers guys. Erm the corner pack will be about $240? and the tweeter about $35? something like that?

I am seriously contemplating buying them. One other thing if i may... i want a space saving bass system, nothing over the top just something to give a little kick. Anyone got any ideas? i dont really want to buy a separate amp if possible.

a 10 inch sub off of the rear outs on the amp should do it. then run the 6x9's off of the radio.
