I hear a lot of good things about the L7 but I've never personally heard one. Is it really all it's hyped up to be? and does it hit the lows pretty good?
i had one before. i really liked it. sounded great. the box it was in didnt go low but in the right box they will.
why might i ask? i like the type r, but the kickers really beat (even though im not fond of how they sound anymore)
well I got the 15 L7. older model in a small sealed box and my 12 inch older model mojo hits a bit harder in it's broken ported box. sound quality isn't too different. kinda dissapointed
Well turns out it's a twelve, I guess the guy I bought it from doesn't know how to use a ruler. But the box is 1.5 cu ft, so i guess it's not small for a twelve. And I know ported is louder but my ported box is broken in like two places including the port that moves around when the bass hits. I'm working on building a bigger box I just need to decide which sub I want to sell so I can buy matching ones.
tough call i had a l5 12, i know it aint a l7 but it still beat on 500rms, im also a big fan of memphis heard the m3s and have heard great things on the memphis mojos, a square sub has more surface area so your gonna get a little more bass, but really i think its just a preferance thing. id rather have memphis than kicker.
