Which amp for my setup???

    I got 2 rockford fosgate p1 punch subs they are 4 ohm but im not sure which amp i should get. i have them in a ported box. I was told by a friend the PowerBass 600.1 would be good but he wasnt too sure.

    Mostly looking for something cheaper not too expensive.....like around 200 bucks or so.

    if you want an inexpensive amp you can look into crunch, power acoustik and powerbass to start.

    Ok but im not sure what amp this is my first system so i dont really understand everything. Not sure if i need a mono 2 ch 4 ch or what?

    Mono is good since you will be working with a 2ohm load.

    i agree. mono is the way to go cause most will do diff ohm loads with out any probs.

    so would a need a mono amp that puts out 300wats @ 4 ohm x 1 channel and just hook up the subs in a series circuit to power these subs???

    so would the RF p300-1 be good if hooked up in a parallel circuit?

    what he said. series will net you an 8 ohm load.

    I would go with the powerbass amp your bud suggested. I am not a fan of the punch series. The powerbass is about the same price an more power
