I've recently purchased the Alpine IDA-X303, and find it a great unit. Allthough, on one point, i haven't been able to figure it out yet. When playing som of my songs on my iPhone, it also plays the audio of the podcasts on my iPhone. This is quite annoying, since i only want to hear my music. I was hoping someone in this forum knows this unit and can tell me what i'm doing wrong?
I also own an Alpine IDA-X303. I am curious, where are the podcasts located. Are they in a playlist? Is the podcast seperate from the music, video or other sections? I don't have an iPhone, I use a Nano and a Video Classic.
Hello! The postcasts in question are just 'normal' from my iTunes. I sync them to my iPhone so i can watch them when on the road I sync them just like i sync any other video, music, ringtone etc. Therefore, i can't really tell you where the podcasts are located, other than they are in 'default' location. I have not added them to any playlists. When i play my music through the X303, i listen to music as expected, but if i skip a song or two, the podcasts also start playing like any other song. Quite anoying, i would like to have my X303 'ignore' podcasts, so it does not play these. Any help i appreciated. Thx!
Then my recommendation would be to put your music in a playlist. Then select that playlist when you hook it to your HU
