as impressive as it looks in size its too pricey and too heavy a sub for the everyday guy.
as a show piece it looks cool.
IA makes a 21 and hell years back clarion made a 36 in sub.

its just for the name...there is literally hundreds of pounds of excess material in the design of the basket and frame.

    It is nothing impressive.

it cost tooo damn much too. 7K really...why?

i could build a really really nice system for half of that or even less.

its just a show off product. kinda like 30in rims. not very practical just eye candy.

yeah....the motor assembly only weighs about 50lbs. There are MANY subs on the market that have motors this size that do not require a 300 lb basket to hold a 50 lb motor.

    Define "Most Powerful".

As in the strongest motor? I'd say the sub alan dante used to break records.

    DD Z series.

strongest subwoofer is not measured by the SPL.

All and SPL reading tells you is the sound pressure on the dashboard. Granted it takes strong subwoofers to get the record levels. It is more about the design and install.

But when you are talking about 160db and up it takes some serious power and subwoofers.
