deal...just put some thin epoxy over the rubbed area and it will be strong again.

I used to have a single 12" Type E the older white cones...powered with 100 watts it pounded HARD for a single 12 and 100 watts in an undersized enclosure.

Stick that sub in a 2.5 cu ft box tuned to 40Hz and wang it with 200 watts all day

When you mean tuned to 40Hz does that involve venting or porting? if so... how would I go about doing that. I have a 2.5cu ft box plan but idk if it's any good. It's just:

    31.5" x 13.5" (X2)
    12" x 12" (X2)
    31.5" x 12" (X2)

Real simple and all open. If this is good I'm gonna go ahead and build it so let me know.

Use a 6" round port 14.5" long or two 4" round ports 14" long.

I know I'm an idiot but how do I get ports? Do you buy them? Are they plastic?

you can by ports or just use PVC pipe for ports. as long as they are the width you need.

or make a box with a slot port.

Okay, I'll probably use pvc. Where should I put the port/s at?

I only got about 3cu ft to work with really. I mean the max height is 16", the max width is 40" and the depth has to be small say around 17-23 maybe.

if you only have 3 cu ft to work with that is nowhere near enough or port the Type Es.

    They sound decent sealed.
