Hey guys I am new here and have not thought about car audio for a couple years. I just had to get a different car since I crashed mine and want to put something in it. I have a PG Titanium 400.2 amp that is a little older that I would like to re use. I have one 15 right now and it sounds horrible. I am looking to get 1 12 or even 1 10 and a box to replace the 15. I am looking to spend about 200-300 dollars if possible. I am looking for SQ over anything else. I would like it to hit hard but would sacrifice a little volume for clean bass. I listen to rap which the 15 is OK for but I also listen to country and some rock which is when it really sounds horrible. Any suggestions for a pretty versatile 12 and box to hook up with that amp? Thanks guys.

SQ and loud bass dont really go together. now SQL those do.lol. i like both so i have a lil of both.

i saw a real nice set up at sbn with old school PG amps.

It is an old low end fosgate sub and I believe a custom enclosure. I am not sure. I got it off a friend a few years ago. They are both pretty shot so that is why i was thinking about just scrapping it and getting new stuff. I am not an expert by any means so loud to me may be different than it is for you. haha.

you know for an all around good sounding bass you can do a sealed box and it will play any kind of music well.
