speaker wire

  1. Was wondering what gauge wire to use to run components and 6x9's from amp with about 80 rms per speaker? Also what size for subs?Any suggestions was thinking about getting from KnuKonceptz

    12~14 gauge should work

    I ran 8AWG to my subs but it is completely unnessecary. 12-14 is good enough.

    Im only using regular speaker wire for my subs, it's way too small though IMO. How the hell do you get two sets of wires into the tiny holes. It's a really pain in the butt. How do you do it Jonny?

    im running 8 gauge for my subs. CC what i did was thin them out a bit so i could twist them up and fit in the holes.

    so that's how you guys do it. I always tried to stick huge wires in the little tiny holes and I just ****ed me off. lol

    Now i know what to do. duh! thanks pedro. Again, My brain isn't working to good. hahha

    on the subs? thats how i do it too.
