lol, it started out with him telling me to get rid of it for him. I tried to sell it, that didn't work, i was going to scrap it but then my car died. So now that he knows i want to fix it up and drive it he has managed to twist it around so that i'm fixing it to eventually give back to him. He is my employer otherwise i would tell him to go take a flying leap into a cold lake. So i need wheels and hopefully i can have this on the road this week if everything goes ok with the safety check. I'll drive it till like next summer, have it painted, do the mechanical stuff it needs then if he wants it back he has to pay me at least $2000.00. Believe me this really ****es me off, i scraped my car with intentions of fixing and keeping the volvo but i'm not going to let this bother me and just try and make the best of it.

 

Money is not an issue with him, it has sentimental value. Whatever, i'll fix it up and use it in the meantime. Cheaper for me to get this on the road for now, i don't really have $1500-$2000 for something descent and certified. Next summer i'll sell it back to him and get something up to date lol or closer to new.

 

What's up peeps, been a while, my internet was down for a bit. Hope everyone is doing good, my stereo is still kicking ass. Thank god lol, no more burning smells. The volvo has been ok but i think the rack and pinion is gone now. When i start the car the steering goes automatically all the way to the left by itself and when i drive i have to hold the steering wheel tight because it's pulling to the left big time. Only i would have these kind of problems lol.

 

hey all, the steering pulls very, very hard to the left, i have to hold on tight to drive straight, i'm assuming the rack is only sending fluid to the left side, maybe a frozen or sticky valve inside the rack, it's like -20 here. I've had enough of this volvo anyways, time for something else once again. Might get a Ford F150 1986 for now. No room for my box though..sigh Did slowmo get his subs and box built?

ya the volvo is down, looking for something else, not going to get the truck, Was thinking of maybe selling my stereo, don't really want to but times are tough..and i need wheels at least.

This is a very nice car its fully loaded with air, cruise, tilt, power windows & locks. It also has remote locks with an alarm system. I had some engine problems with it that caused me to have to park it. Its in excellent shape and if i had the time i would fix it for myself but i need it out of the yard. Im asking $1300 but im open to offers, come take a look! With a bit of time and money put in to this car you could have a great ride
