I bought azns nine.1 amp and i love it. My only concern is that when i had the crossfire 600d amp hooked up to my cerwin vegas, it was louder with the 600 than with the nine.1. Everything is wired up the same. I hit 144.9 on the meter with the 600d and like 143.8 with the nine.1. I cant figure out why. Any ideas?

that doesn't make sense. how do you have the NINe.1 wired to the sub? the eD amps are underrated and they will put out more power then they claim to put out. I know at 1ohm, a NINe.1 puts out about 1500 watts rms.

It may be the way you have the amp tuned, you may want to play around with it more. I'm sure it would do better than the crossfire amp.

Well, for the wire terminals on the amp, it goes + - + -. Well my subs are dvc 4 ohm and i have the positve from one coil hooked to the positive on he other coil and then the positive from the sub to the amp and its the same for the other sub to. On the crossfire amp, i put both positives from both subs into one terminal and both grounds in one terminal. Azn said this amp has internal bridging so putting all postives together wouldnt make much difference.

could be. have you done the big 3 to your truck? the 4 gauge should be fine thats what i run on my nine.5.

No i havent got around to the big 3 yet. I am thinking about getting an extra battery and redoing my wire from 4 gauge to 0 gauge from battery to battery and from battery to amp and then getting a line driver for the amp also.

wait! new box? in your truck or you built one to sell? cause if you made a new box for the subs then added the nine.1 then maybe the box lowered your score.

It shows you the waveform...you play a test tone and turn up the gain...you can see the signal clip then back it down...or play a song with a constant bass line and you can set the gain for right under clipping...you can also measure the true output of the amp at the presented load.

you can do the same for components too?
