So whats the word on the reverse driver mountings in second and fourth order enclosures? is one better than the other? and is there any advantage to a downfiring sub?
a reverse mounted sub just makes a little bit more airspace in the enclosure. not really noticeable sound difference unless you are doing SPL comps. also called power mounting
so aside from gaining a 0.002% gain on internal area there really isn't an advantage? on a box design, do the designs change at all?
I am serious, those eclipses hold as much RMS as my MA12"s and are WAY cleaner and harder! I am worried about losing the brake light cover now. i was amazed.. I'm adding eclipse to the list of goods, ill have to check out the 12"s and 15"s they make to solidify it, but personally i think they are up there with kicks. plus the VC is guarded by some cool blue plastics heh be fancy lookin
