    Hey guys I'm new to the forum but I just tried out caraudioforums.com and you guys already seem to be a nicer group...

    Well I have a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT and I'm looking for a nice system but there are so many different brands of subs and amps flooding the market so Idk with this much money involved I would kind of like to make it right the first time.     Also I got these reccomended to me and the person said that they were really good but I was just wondering if anyone else has had experience with them? http://www.rdaudio.net/sonance/sonance.htm

    So I'm wanting to get 2 maybe 3 15" subs, but I wouldn't like to spend anymore than $300 a sub. And a nice powerful amp but I don't really want to spend anymore than $300 on an amp.

    hi and welcome. ive never heard of RD. so i cant comment on them.

    the kickers would really slam especially 3 of them. for a little less you can look here.http://www.edesignaudio.com/index.php?cPath=1_21

    i have 3 of their 8's(9kv2) and their now discontinued 5ch amp (nine.5) and for the money they are very good IMO.

    Welcome!!! you're going to notice that a lot of us here like elemental designs, their amps are underrated and their subs are awesome too. Customer service there is great and they give 5 year warranties. You'll find a lot of people on other forums that don't like eD because of the owner, but that was long ago and the owner Ben, is a great guy. I suggest you poke around their site.

    Pedro is using a NINe.5 with 3 eD 8's. I'm using a NINe.1 and a NINe.4 with 2 13ov.2 subs (also all from eD). great stuff.

    By the way, on caraudioforums.com people there tend to be very nasty for some reason... I used to go there but i just didn't like the people there. You won't find that here.

    hey welcome man! yes we are all very nice here. i too have eD stuff. currently 2 13kv.2's and very soon upgrading to 4 of them! also, power acoustik makes a good amp for the money too. me and electro use those, he will be commenting soon with Welcome !! lol electro. i know u too well.

    what kind of car/truck do you have?

    I wish I was rich like you guys so I could spend $300 a sub for three subs and a nice amp :(

    I buy off-brand used stuff off ebay :(

    keep an eye on eD products. my subs go for $175 each.. I got them on sale for $70 each. lol... just be patient and never rush... It's not about the money... It took me about a year before I finally bought my stuff. I did it slowly...

    buying used stuff on ebay isn't a bad thing to do. I got 3 mtx amps on ebay..

    i bought my subs for 50 each.

    cc im sorry to say but im getting pizzed that my motor has NO BALLS and i have to build a new one before i do anymore stereo upgrades. i mean, my bass already hurts my ears a bit.

    i havent gotten a design yet either.

    I have a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT and wow everybody on here is so much nicer. lol. I posted one question on the other forum site and only about one person commented nicely and tried to help me out. lol

    that amp will put out about 2800 - 3000 watts when wired like that. then u design a nice big ported box and all u would be able to say is HOLY SH**! lol but thats just what i would do if i had a budget like that. you can buy that amp off ebay for 250, thats where i am getting mine. Electro has the same one.

    sounds like a pretty good idea. But just a question if you wire them that way could that mess them up or anything? Sorry I'm kinda a newb to this. lol

    man that looks sweet mines red, all leather interior and a v8 magnum. I thought about getting a nice set of rims, but instead I'm investing in a nice system because I will be gettig a new car in a few years as a graduation gift;)

    no it wont hurt them. the subs are made for that and the amp is 1 ohm stable but o man would that POUND!!!!

    sweet man I can't wait until I get my new setup I will hopefully be getting at the end of this month because I have no money right now and I will make over $1500 with-in a few weeks ;)
