THANKS IN ADVANCE
OK, what is your max budget for your speakers? visonik really isn't a good brand at all so I would go for that. just let us know the max that you want to spend and we can find something decent within your budget. Generally speaking, Civics can take just about any speaker, just as long as you stick to 6.5" for the front's and 6x9's for the rear. here's some 6.5" speakers that are ok, a lot better than the visonik http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6215 http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6361 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_13626_Phoenix+Gold+Ryval+V6.5+R-B.html http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=5855 http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6452 I would suggest that you keep the brands the same, but thats totally up to you. I'm just anal about that. don't look at higher wattage speakers either, since you're just going to use the stock stereo which prolly only puts out 25watts per channel then you should look at speaker with low wattage. hope this helps.
Found this on millionbuy.com. Not a bad price at all. http://www.millionbuy.com/phgv690.html http://www.millionbuy.com/phgv65c.html I'd get that if you're on a small budget. the 6.5" is a component set which is way better than buying just regular coax speakers.
hey guys, yea my budget for the speakers is right around 100 dollars. And the thing is, im buying a new headunit that puts out 52w.. a sony one. this ist he headunit i plan on buying.. http://www.millionbuy.com/snycdxgt320.html
no head can put out 52 watts x4. maybe 22ish and thats pushing it hard. then distortion will take over.
just focus on the front speakers then if your on a budget. then come back to the rear's when you have more money.
so if i got this setup would it sound pretty good? http://www.millionbuy.com/phgv690.html - phoenix gold 6x9's for rear http://www.millionbuy.com/phgv65.html - phoenix gold 6.5's for front http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=190704&cc_fm=Toolbox+Cart - SONY head unit
so what if i get the phoenix gold 6x9's and the phoenix gold 6.5's, but not the component ones, the regular ones. would they sound good? they are definitely in my budget
thanks for the help, that sounds like plan then.. 6.5 phoenix golds in front 6x9 phoenix golds in back
