amp question.....

    i have 2 12" audiobahn aw121T subwoofers 500w rms each, and a kac 7204 1000w 2 channel amp. i just bought a new kacx10d 1200w mono amp. just wondering if i actually upgraded instead of downgraded?? i havent gotten it yet so any answers would help. i read some reviews on the kacx10d and it was 60-40% good vs bad reviews.

    im not sure you will hear a difference with an extra 200 watts.

    yea, but i dont think that the kac7204 is made specially for bass. it pushes my subs kinda hard, its just that the bass isnt that deep.

    that has a lot to do with the enclosure its in. not the amp.

    if it has a crossover for subs then it was made to power subs too, as well as mids/highs.
