Look what FINALLY came, too bad it will be sold by this weekend... It was fun just looking at it though. I now have the MTX amps for my wife's car so I'll be doing the install over the weekend...
Here's a pic with the L5 out of the box. It's pretty heavy, I really don't want to look at it anymore, i just want to get rid of it all. I'm really tempted to just install it. Only 30 days for my eD gear to get to me.... gotta control myself.. lol
I still have the box design that azn made for me. 5 cubes tuned at 33hz i think... I'm trying to remember why i changed my mind about my gear. I do think eD is better than this.... By the way, The guy who is buying it, is buying it for about $850!! lol
I don't think ed is better than what you have there now, that setup will eat ed for breakfast then come back for more lol. What ed are you getting?
That is a nice setup. Same bass amp but I only got the 12 inch L7. Its really loud and goes deeeep, and you got a 15!!! Yes im jealous. I bet it would be very nice.
Don't do it lol, keep it. Hifonics, Hifonics, Kicker, Kicker, echo............... . . . . . I bet that 15 would keep up to 2 12s and then some. Something about the square design.
Too late, the Hifonics and Kicker will be sold today for roughly $850. Made a killing on it. The problem (mistake) I made with the L5 was that it's DVC 4ohm which means I could only run it at 2ohms = 900watts. The eD will be at 1ohm so I think it will a lot better.
Oh, that sucks, lol tell him it's better for the system at 2 ohms. I have to start hustling too, need stuff!!
I did tell the buyer and he's totally ok with running it at 900watts. he's going to put it in a '07 honda civic. i'm sure he'll enjoy it...
oh cool, that will pound lol. I just looked at the specs, that sub is rated 750 watts rms i thought it was more, tell him to take it easy on that sub, they don't like overpowering. I've had two l5s and an l7 and i fried them all lol
really? i thought the L5's could take a beating... Guess i'm wrong. anyway, he's going to use a DMM for adjusting the gain so he should be alright.
