kenwood 6X8s in the doors.

    I installed these yesterday. they don't sound very good. It's not the speakers-it's the way they're mounted. They aim the sound at my knees. If I duck my head down low, it's much better. The Ford speakers and no name tweets in the rear sound much better. I'm hesitant to put some components up front-the midrange will still be aimed the wrong way. What do you guys think? But it's not a total loss-they sound good with the rear as "fill". But on their own not so good. Here's photos.

    can you add something in the dash?

    i had to in mine as my 6.5's aim at my shin's.

    Yes but it would be more work than i want to do. What do you have in the dash? I've read that car manufacturers don't know much about speaker placement and sound quality. I believe it.

    i have 4x6 plates in there. 4in and a separate tweet.

    how did you stick that tweeter on the sail panel? is it bolted on?

    . its got a 1/4 in bolt going thru it to the rear plate.
