lol, ya i remember you saying that. She's had no stereo at all in the car for a while so she would probably appreciate it.

There's a hifonics amp on ebay i'm looking at, an older one, do these specs mean if i have a deck with 4 volt outs then i can't use it on this amp?

Input Sensitivity 200mV to 2V adjustable
    Input Impedance 10kOhm
Damping Factor 250 into 4 Ohms
    Channel Separation > 90dB

That's sick, too bad you need so many batteries, i guess that's not a daily driver lol. My hifonics is down, i think my deck zapped it. Keeps blowing 100 amp fuses just trying to turn it on.

X2 what pedro said turn it on w/out the rcas...my last deck used to send my sundown into protection because of the rcas...or try putting the remote turn on directly to the batt to test if the fuses blow...

I ripped the ****n thing out of there lol. Hooked up another amp and now i have an alternator whine noise. Pretty sure the deck is messed up, it will be smashed soon, i have a replacement coming. The amp i have it inside now, will hook it up here and see whats up. It's a little depressing, i wonder if this deck has been messing with me all along lol man. I will get this amp fixed though if it's fried, i was finally happy with my setup lol.

What gets me is this time my system was playing at a very low volume, i was trying to listen for noises the car was making and it popped.

something has to be shorting out.

i think a whole system rewire may be in order. i mean gut that thing and do it over to be 1000% sure its not the install.
