    well......a wall would put me in a different class....but en enclosure that stays under rear window level wouldnt....something with say....8 10's? :-D

    isnt there a rule about enclosure height?

    no mor than 24 inches

    isnt it that the enclosure have to be under the windowline??

    well yes ,but i seen on my other forum that height also plays a factor.

    something about the box cant be higher than 24 in.

    thats for rookie class. my class for now.

    i just found out i cant use my ipod. has to be a cd. a store bought cd. no cd r.cd rw either.


    good thing i have some bass cd's. cant take the radio out either!

    wow they let a lot of things slide. good thing

    its called a semi-wall where you just replace the back seat with the enclosure baffle.

    he can depending on what class he plans to run. putting his sub enclosure in the passenger area bumps him into a higher class that he may not be ready to run in. i.e real heavy hitters.

    yeah...true. Well if he does a straight wall that is still in the trunk than what would that put him in. Like be able to fold downthe back seat but just seal off the cab from the trunk

    rookie or stock class. i believe.

    as long as it stays out of the passenger compartment.

    iasca never come thru here, so there rules wont affect me, just usaci and meca, i have no interest in entering bassrace/dbdrag events as there pointless

    i got the first of my 8 10's today in the mail :-D just got one as a test unit, i'll build a enclosure this weekend and see how she sounds, if its acceptable i will order my other 7, if not, you will see a vid of a brand new sub getting 110v current until its ultimate demise hehe

    lol, one way of looking at it. i'd like to go if i ever get a working system just to try once at least, can see other peoples setups too.

    built a small ported box for one of the 10"s i only bought one of them for now, because i wanted to see what it was capable of, i was running it off of a 50w rms amp that i use to test speakers (not subs) and it hit suprisingly well...lol there are a few places where the box was leaking, because i hadnt glued it together yet...haha i will get a better vid of it tomorrow after i get it all glued and sealed
