Just a though, what if i bought 2 eD EHQS 8's, stuck them under my 2nd row and instead of running the coax speakers off the amp I can run the 2 8's at 2ohms giving them 100watts a piece. I was bored and i saw some for sale for $30 shipped so my mind started going crazy again. If I can fit them under my 2nd row seating, I think it would be pretty cool. Comments???
They are good midbasses. Not really a power subwoofer. They need big sealed and ported enclosures so under the rear seat wouldn't be good. If you can fiberglass them into the front doors IB they'd be badass midbasses. If I could get a couple I'd FB my front doors this summer...I love massive midbass
I just caught that, the smallest you can make a box for it is like .75 cu. ft. That's real big, I took a few measurements and it doesn't look like it'll fit. You may be interested. The guy wants to sell 4 of them for like $55 shipped.
I have bills to pay first...seems like my upgrade will have to wait. I already sold the 12W6, JBL amp, and t-line to my friend for 200 bucks...He still owes me 140 plus some for carpeting. Then if I can sell my 19Ov.2 i'll be out of debt then back in the game
LOL. wait til you get married and have a family azn then you'll know what debt is. Smart move though, keep yourself out of debt as much as possible.

It was just a thought i have about the 8's. I could have gotten 4 of the eD 8's for like $50 shipped. I don't want to stick 8's in my doors (it'll need a lot of fabrication) and the space under my 2nd row is not enough. I just trashed the idea..
i wish i could use them for something and, more importantly, i also wish i had money to buy them! lol

sure that too.those are inexpencive diy home speakers. not meant for anything wild. add a mid and tweet for cheap and bam you have a stereo set up. would work fine under a sofa too i guess
