'93 Crown Vic rear deck-6x8 or 6x9??

    I may change out the rear speakers soon. I've talked to someone at Crutchfield and Best Buy, and they're all saying 6x9. But I've taken the rear deck cover off and looked at the speakers. I'd be willing to bet they are 6x8. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this? And I thought 6x9 was an aftermarket size. Do any vehicles have factory 6x9's?

    my truck came with factory 6x9's in the front.

    confirmed. 1993 crown vic does take 6x9's in the rear deck. the front doors take 6x8's

    75% of cars with big rear decks run 6x9's

    LOL, me and azn both have fords... I hate having to look at 6x8's. there's not a lot of good stuff out there. Only think i came up with was the infinity comps.

    I have an exploder...I hate ford. POS. fukin timing chain makes the nastiest noise ever....sounds like the damn thing is about to fall apart
