ok, with 2 12" cvr's 2ohm DVC you can either run them at a 2ohm load or a .5ohm load. I'm just going to assume you're going to run it at a 2ohm load. The 12" CVR is 400watts RMS. So, since you're going to run two of them, you want to find an amp that can either match 800watts RMS at 2ohms or be a little under.

The MTX amp would work, and MTX is a good company. If i were to choose though i would look at the kicker ZX750.1 which puts out 750 watts RMS at 2ohms.

The kicker at 750 watts RMS at 2ohms comes a lot closer than the MTX you stated above with is only 500watts RMS at 2ohms

Welcome! Those are badass subs and they can take some abuse lol, i was pushing probably over 1000 watts to them, but stay around 800 watts rms for an amp and it will pump. I wouldn't put them in a bandpass though.

^^^why not bandpass? I didnt feel like buying another box thats why I asked. And I see you added another battery, do u think I will need to add a 2nd battery? I replace my old battery with a new optima batt. already.

where did you get your bandpass box? usually bandpass boxes create very dirty bass. You don't need a 2nd battery, the reason why electro has the 2nd battery was because of hi Orion amp. that thing is a monster! with your planned setup, just one battery would be more than enough. Just upgrade to the big 3 so you won't have any electrical issues like dimming...

I forgot where i got the box from I think I purchased it a while back from bestbuy as a package w/ some ****ty subs in it and I took them out but I ended up getting a ported enclosure w/ nice mtz subs in it and diregarded the bandpass box. But now my MTX enclosure is trashed due to an accident.

PS thanks 4 the help guys
