Anyone herd of amps installe to the roof??

    I was wondering if anyone had ever herd of installing your amplifiers in the headliner of a car?

    its been done. just make sure the amps are still properly cooled. heat rises so you dont want the amp killing itself.

    and upside down. maybe had a fan.

    nope no fan found this pic.the fans you see are for the other amps you dont see. oh and there are 2 more amps under the upside down ones.

    How was it done? The amp in fiberglass roof panel made? thats what I was thinking of. Make a second roof from fiberglass??

    dont know that answer.as these guys were kinda dumb. they didnt do the work them selves,but also didnt know anything about the install. only how to turn it on. it didnt play/sound right.one of the three may have been blown or wired wrong.

    With the amps on the roof they should get plenty of ventilation...overheating shouldn't be a problem

    makes sense. windows down or a/c on. still gets air flow.
