ugh... that 5 1/4 crap. maybe some kicks for this one too to house some 6 1/2's and then the kicker set up.

o and did i tell u they only want $750 for the car? but idk what i am gonna do. i havent stopped and asked questions. it may need alot of work or even a motor. in the edmunds they say the parts are really cheap too.

that's sounds pretty cheap, i think i read they go for about $1,600 or so.

5 1/4 speakers aren't that bad. After i made some adjustments to my amp, and put sound deadening in the doors, my DLS were giving out some pretty good mid bass. I was totally happy with it.

I don't have the amp up to it anymore and i took out my sub already, I'm just waiting for my new stuff to get in... I hope it will be in soon....

should i get that sub in D2 or D4, the D2 is cheaper and the Crunch amp is 1 ohm stable but idk if that would be too much power for the sub, what do u guys think?

that amp is overrated, it will probably (not exactly sure) put out about 850-875watts at 2ohms. the amp says it will put out 2500watts max at 1ohm. cut that prolly in half and then some, so you may just want to wire it at 1ohm. you can always put the gain way down so you shouldn't have to worry about putting too much power to your L7 15". The L7 gets 1000 rms and L7's can take a beating.

So if your getting 1 15" L7 then get the D2 and wire it to 1ohm...

I dont know about overrated... crunch is also made by maxxsonics like hifonics is... some guys rave about how much power the Crunch 3000d amps put out.

I have the 1206D with a 15" L5, i plan to run it a 2ohms (900watts) but i couldn't tell you how it performs cuz i actually don't have it yet. So, i'll just tell you from what I know about the 1606D. I know someone that has on hooked up to 2 12" L7 and he says it hits hard. fstrfvo has a hifonics amp hooked up to 1 12" L7 and said it pounds hard.

Other people say they don't like Hifonics and others do. Very mixed reviews, but it is better than the crunch amp (even though it's made by the same company MAXXSONICS).

I would ask other members about running a 15" L7 at 1ohm with the BXI1606D. Hifonics is also overrated but i don't know by how much so I wouldn't want you killing your new L7 by putting too much power to it. If you put your gain down, i'm pretty sure you'll be ok though.
