ok guys. i'm gonna do the install in my mothers car.so i have somewhere safe to put my M44 4 ch. i'm keeping the stock head, cause she knows how to use it well enough. a new one would confuse the hell out of her. i may get a cd changer for it too one day. so i need to find some sites to figure out how to remove the dash to get to the 3.5's in it. so i can find what to put in there.tweets most likely. the doors will stay stock as will the rears.it only really needs tweets and a sub. impeadance wont be an issue since the PG is stable to 1 ohm stereo.
i cant find any sites that tells me the radio's wiring. i also would like to know the front 4 speakers impedance.im thinknig its 2 8 ohm speakers in parallel. i'm thinknig something like this. Parts Express:Goldwood GT-302 2-3/8" Mylar Dome Tweeter but without tearing the dash out. i would like to know the speakers depth/width

Ranger highly recommended this some time ago. 2-Channel High Performance Line Output Converter - SoundGate.com
I found the prices... with a little searching of course. here you go: 2 channel Amazon.com: SOUNDGATE LOCX 2-Channel Line-Output Converter: Sports & Outdoors
thanks, but i dont think it has a remote out for the amp. oh and thank you for the wiring diagram.turns out it's the same as the truck one you showed me for my freinds install.^_^.
when i get a chance. i want to remove the dash to see what i have to work with speaker size and depth wise. i dont want to cut anything at all. it has to be as stealth as possible, and has to sound great too. i'm thinking of getting some 8 ohm speakers up front for a 4 ohm final impedance.i dont want the amp sucking on the electrical too much.
ok these guys go really low. so in the dash they should blend in well with the doors? which i think i'll leave stock for now.they do sound nice for stockers.http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=264-823 thats if they fit.anyone know of a site that has info on the depth.i dont think i'll get a chance to get to the dash this week.
well my mom came over for dinner so i took the dash out and had it back on in under 10 min. thanks CC.YOU ROCK! anyways i have more than 3 inch's of space to work with.yay!
i just finished buying the tweets.Parts Express:Tang Band 28-847SE Neodymium Dome Tweeter so now i just need to find a cap for it. i'll need help with that.
