    yeah,no more PG's.

they will find a new home.maybe i'll keep em in the family, and put one in my sis's car when she drives down for the week.

she wants me to check out why her pioneer deck flickers on occasion.

maybe i'll suprise her with my old pioneer 7700.it should plug right in.
i'll just keep the amp,and give her that.

Thought you were going to sell em. you can't stand the though of getting rid of them huh. keeping it in the family is a better thing to do though. At least you'll get to see them every once in a while.

You can a get pretty good money for those PG amps if you did decide to sell em though. I see them on ebay every once in a while and they aren't cheap. there's an M44 on ebay now for $103.52 with still 5 days to go on the auction.

yeah.they do fetch a pretty penny on ebay.

i cant stand the thought of getting rid of them.

i'm going to give her my older pioneer deck instead. she said she does'nt want an amp.it's not her thing.

oh!! i may have broken some of the false floor.

since i dont have all the amps in i lost some of the support.i was at walmart buying mulch and i had to get in to load some of the bags(25) and when i leaned in i heard a crunch.

after all was unloaded i felt around and some of the floor and the cover piece were cracked.i got some wood glue and clamped the lip to the cover.

will see tommorow if it helped

Hope it works out. I don't think you'd want to make another false floor.

    nice pics.whos amp is that?

anyways i got it yesterday afternoon and got to installing it when i got home around 5:45pm.i didnt finish till 9:45.

i took pics during the install.will post them shortly.have to add a few comments about this amp...WOW.it has WAY more power than my PG's.

talk about head room!!and the sub power.....BIG BIG difference.has tons more power.tons.

so i got to really get on it on my drive home.in the rain.took me an hour to get home.so i was really jamming out.

when i got home i checked the amp,and guess what?it was barely warm.WTF!!! i still have to tweak the xovers for the mids and sub.

it is also very quiet.no noise at all. zero! awesome.

i love the sub remote.if i wanted i can kill the bass all the way.my pg would only turn it down some.on bass heavy songs i couldnt totally lower the bass all the way. it great to be able to do that when i'm tuning the mids/highs crossover.

anyways blah blah....it is a very nice amp and has a boat load more power than my 3 PG'S.for the bass anyways.mids.....lower distortion for sure.

can someone answer this...if my amp has 18db per oct and my radio has 12db per oct crossovers will useing both give me 30db per oct capability?

if yes. then i can get at least 36db for my sub.

Nice Amp! Very neat inside there lol. You need a real sub now and you'll be all set! lol
The crossovers will add to each other, you will have to try and use one or the other.
