ya i bought it, not the pro but still should be sweet. Went to pick it up tonight but couldn't find the place, now screwed until monday lol. I haven't done anything to my rack, been snowing and freezing and snowbanks and ice lol i hate
winter. Now i gotta build a stupid sub box too...lol

 

I have 3 or 4 empty boxes at my buddies house, bought them from ebay and never got around to building them lol. So monday i should be bumpin. I'm going to hook it at 1 ohm but i'm not going to crank it at all until i make the custom box and finish my rack with all the fans. Sigh..Getting tired just thinking about what i have to do lol. Need to do the whole electrical to 0 gauge too. Maybe i'll order some more tonight. Some is done already. I almost don't want to give up these CVR12s they are pumping big time. It's rattling my teeth as it is now at 2 ohms. The Stroker wasn't much really, it cost me $304.00 with shipping and everything. The pro would have been $600.00 and i figured if i waited until i had an extra $600.00, i could be waiting a long time...If i fry it quickly which i hope i don't! then i'll recone it and sell it back to ebay and get the pro.

oh ya, i made a tone cd and 30 hz rattles my car the most so it concurs with Rangers formula lol. Can i tune this thing to 30hz? or just go 35hz. What would be the disadvantages of 30hz tuning. That would make it almost exactly the resonant frequency of my car.

 

Why do i always notice this stuff when it's too late lol. Does this mean the sub can only play 40hz-200hz? Or is this spec mean something else.

 

ok, i must have ran this through over 20 times now. I think i'll settle with this, seems big but that's what bassbox wants lol. This size holds the power over the most frequencies 37hz-46hz.
3.9 cubic feet tuned to 38.68hz

ok, i have to go smaller anyways, i just remembered that this box in the picture barely fit in my trunk opening, so i have to go with it's dimensions. Haha, imagine if i built it and it didn't fit. I'd completely lose it!! Got my sub today but didn't have a 12" sub box so i'll just wait.

It is an mtx box i think with 2 kicker cvr12s that i sold on ebay but the guy's taking his time on contacting me, i hate that i had two other people who wanted it too.

For a prefab box this thing kicks ass.

 

I was going to take out one of the cvr12s today from that box and throw the stroker in there but i said screw it lol, that's a little funky.
