Hi all, it's been a while. Life has been very busy so i haven't had to to log on for a while now. Anyway, I always thought that US Amps were good. I was just browsing on ebay and i saw this: US AMPS XT1600.2 xTERMINATOR 2 CH 1600W AMPLIFIER NEW - (eBay item 150198012230 end time Dec-28-07 18:55:03 PST) Is this thing any good? seems too cheap to be a really good amp. Comments?
there was a big thing a little big ago where a us amps rep stated a bunch of stuff about their amps and how they don't do rated power. I wouldn't buy it...prolly doesn't do rated power
u would you prolly be bett going with the Sundown SAZ 1500D it doe rated powere and only cost about 450
it depends on the model i guess.i met a guy with 2 big ones strapped for 2500 watts,running 10 subs. so far he hasnt had any probs with them.
i rememebr the original US amps had a palm tree on it, and that was ment it was built in Miami FL, now the new ones ive seen dont have those palm trees anymore, so my guess is they were bougth out by another company
you're right. they aren't like they were in the past. The old school stuff was good. Now, they are just like all the other cheap amps, they are overrated now.
