This will be a front slant enclosure with two sealed chambers for each pair of subs. The design would be 15"H x 55"W x 8"bottom depth x 5" top depth, 2.084^3ft gross vol. After all displacement, .89^3ft per chamber. I can also put a recessed amp rack in the center, it will be 15"W x 15.3"H, so you could mount the amps, and possibly the cap in there with them too. Built from 3/4" Perfecta UL-MDF. Seams matched and double sealed. Dado cut end caps. Reinforced baffle board. Seams fastened with Tite Bond glue and 1-5/8" counter sunk drywall screws. Walls fully braced and tied in with Maranti Hardwood bracing for zero wall flex and 100% cabinet integrity. 45 degree boards in the corners to kill standing sound waves and to add extra strength to the corner seams. High Quality, Gold plated binding post with nylon heads. Gray Muzicon carpet. (This is what I got from JD the guy who builds boxes. And with the amp I have Is a ppi 2150 i used it with my 12" L7s and i hit 144.7DB in a sealed box in my cavalier. So i know that it will move those subs

I find it very hard to believe that two 12 inch L7s hit 144.7 in a sealed box. in a trunk car.

Probably on a miscalibrated meter. No offense.

strange, how big was the box? So you have two of these amps? You could run 300 watts to each L7 for 1200 watts. Is PPI underrated?

    PPI AM SERIES 2150 AMPLIFIER

    2 x 150 rms @ 4 ohm .02 % THD, 2 x 300 rms @ 2 ohms

electro those amps back in the day were the $h!t.on par with your orion,my PG's,and hifonics of the day.

i would chose those over what is being sold today!!

i used to have my 10 in that truck box and it was nice and loud.so 4 8's is going to pound in that truck.

ok cool, that's funny i always see them on ebay and just figured they were crap lol. So are they under rated? And can we run them at 2 ohms so each sub can get 300 watts rms, the S8L7s are 450 watts each.
