I'm going to return the amp as soon as Ben gets me a receipt lol.

I've got the 5x7's in the front doors and I think I might put 6.5's in some kick panels... I dislike those 5.25's.

I'll try to get some videos up of the sub today.

i'm a dumbass? lol Well it will cost me around $30.00-$40.00 to ship it to the states and i have a feeling they are going to give me a hassle. So if they decide to charge me to fix it then that and the shipping and possibly duties i don't know if i want to almost buy one again or if it's worth it. It was only like $300.00 to start with. I guess i should get it shipped back anyways and go from there.

Okay. Me and my friend listened to tones at low volumes and decided which we thought was loudest, and we decided on 35Hz. I put the gain at 0, I put the sub bass at 0 on the headunit, I put the volume at 33/40 on the headunit, I put the 35Hz tone on repeat, I put the DMM probes into the speaker terminals, and I raised the gain until I hit just about 31.2-31.5 volts (31.6 volts is 1000 watts @ 1 ohm). Man that thing was blasting! That **** OWNED my dual CVR12's!

I played zoom by lil boosie and put the sub bass at +6 and I was hitting in the low 20's (volts) at the speaker terminals on the amp during the song's peak times. That and late night tip by three 6 mafia were hitting pretty damn hard. A paper that was in my trunk got sucked into the port when I was playing zoom and I had to use a shop vac to get the paper out of my box lol.

Oh yeah, and I accidentally played a 25Hz tone with the volume at 33/40 and I blew a 40A fuse in my power distribution block lol. The sub was all over the place... I won't be playing anything below 35Hz again.

I need to find some more songs with low beats though.

My CDT's, they get the highs, but they suck for any kind of midbass.

I can take some pics. It's not much to look at because I had to take my 4 channel amp out and the 5.25" components aren't hooked up. The videos will have to wait until I find a remote location... my neighbors were getting p!ssed. :D

So you went with 5x7's? What kind did you end up using? Couldn't get those 6.5's in the doors?

No I had some MTX 5x7's in my rear deck already, so I just moved them to the front for now, until I find some 6.5's I want.

I need some more songs with low beats. Hood Nigga by Gorilla Zoe and Late Night Tip by Three 6 Mafia work pretty well, but I need some more.

Here are some pics. The SAX-100.4 is missing from the amp rack as you'll notice, and the crossovers obviously aren't hooked up. I've also left out the pics of the security features.

Oh yeah, and in June I'm selling my grand marquis to get a car for college. I'm looking for something with good gas mileage and lots of stereo capabilities. Right now I'm thinking about a black 2005 Volkswagen GTI (1.8L turbocharged 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual, 32mpg highway)...

Nice job on the system eazy, nice and neat! So it's louder than the two cvr12's you had? No problems with the charging system? I can only play like two songs on mine then both my batteries are like dead lol, with a 130 amp alternator and driving ! But my wiring sucks for now so i'm sure that's not helping.

Definitely louder and lower than the dual CVR12's. No problems with the batteries or alternator. The amp gets hot after blasting on the highway for an hour, but that's about it lol.
