hey if it works.thats all that matters.

flashing lights and a horn/siren going off is gonna get some attention.

just be sure to hide your wiring and loom it all up to match the rest of the wiring and make sure the siren is in a very secure location so its very hard to get to.even if the horn is going off too.
also hide that brain too. when i had my sis's car alarm done on here first car.the installer showed me his work, and it looked like the rest of the wires under the dash.he even hid the brain behind the instrament cluster.hell it took 5 hrs to do the install and i NEVER had any probs with it EVER!
wish i took my truck there when i had mine put in.

maybe a horn inside too?that would keep someone out for sure

Looks descent, cheap too, rattler makes some pretty good ones too for the lower end of alarms.

All alarms work the same way, the only reason to spend more money is for more features. It makes no sense to pay for 6 - 8 channels when you will only use 2.

And it has that thing for the window breaking, thats what the shock sensor is. Also, using relays you can add as many sirens as you want. With alarms, correct install techniques is important.

ok so what do the channels actually mean?

More options, typically alarms will have 3 or 4 channels, one for lock/arm, one for unlock/disarm, and one for trunk open. Thats three. And some will have one more channel for another option such as remote start or window roll up or what ever else you can dream up.

There is one major difference between the low end and high end alarms which is one and two way paging, which will page you through your remote when your alarm is set off so you can run out there and beat the crap out of them LOL.

well i think if i went anywhere that the truck could get broken into i think i could hear it so i could go out there anyway. so i dont think i need the 2 way paging.

Yes you can, just remember that additional parts may be necessary, depending on what you wanna do.

ok< i have been researching even more and i thought it was kinda wierd that this system says it has 2 2-button remotes on one part of the description, and it says it has 2 5-button remotes on another part, and it says it also has a 6-button remote on the page where u click on it to get the description and stuff.
