Would 1 Kinetik hc1800 under the hood and 1 in the trunk be good?

250A (130A @ idle) sound good? I kind of need to order this soon... I'm sick of driving my mom's rav4 to school lol.

Okay. I thought I needed a 300A (150A @ idle) but I talked to a guy with a lot of stereo and he said he has more than twice the wattage I have and he has a 260A alternator.

I'm putting 2 more vertical 1.5"x3.5" braces in there... attached to the front baffle, one on each side of the sub.

Okay. The mods on the other site are saying "The back wave is going to be fed directly into the port, that usually doesn't work well..."

    What do you guys think?

That's what's permanent right now. The other pieces aren't attached to the bottom/sides yet (vertical brace, port, and baffle). Should I change the setup of the port?

Should I redo the port like this? I REALLY want to do this right the first time and not waste all this time and money on this box.

I think it will be ok like it is, the wave has to go somewhere, it will be forced into the trunk back to your rear deck hopefully.

    Excessive Amperage vs. Iraggi Alternators...

    Now this is tough.

Nate said the 250A would put out 140-150A idle the last time I talked to him and it would cost $420 shipped.

Dom said a 240A would put out 155A at idle and it would cost $420 shipped. Dom also said a 260A would put out 140A idle and would cost $440 shipped.

    What do you think?

so the 240 puts out more at idle than the 260???

    I'd get the Iraggi

Yup. Yeah I figured 240A peak would be fine... and 155A at idle would be nice for parking lot bumping.

I ordered from Nate at Excessive Amperage after all... 250A and 140-150A at idle for $420 shipped. I also ordered 2 Kinetik hc1800 batteries on ebay for $390 shipped... my electrical sh!t costs more than my equipment... damn that p!sses me off.
