Is it critical the way a amp is installed? As in level? Horizontal? vertical? tilted? Upside down? I used to have a Rockford Fosgate and a Kenwood in my T-bird that I mounted upside down on the rear deck. I think one of the manuals that said "Do Not Mount Upside down"? But I used both for 5-6 years like that and they never did anything besides work fine??

so long as the amp gets good air flow so that it doesn't overheat then it doesn't matter how its oriented. just make sure its secure and cool and you're golden.

I dont recommend mounting it upside down....heat rises.

fans are an easy remedy if u have to mount it upside down. cheap 12v computer fans will do the trick.

Right, but if you can avoid doing that....I would.

agreed, but if the coolness factor is also important then thats the trick to do it.
