CDT ES-01 tweeters

    Are these tweeters any good? My JL Xr's are a little too harsh for me (aluminum). Has anyone had any experience with these?

    I have nor heard them at all myself....

    If you like your highs a little softer, might look at some 1 inch soft domes from various manufacturers, they tend to be a little less bright sometimes.....

    I have the JL XR's now and they are too harsh, the CDT-01's are silk domes. Anyone want a set of 2-month old JL xr's $80 with all mounting hardware!

    I also prefer the sound of silk dome or sometimes refered to as composite domes. Most metal domes just don't sound right to me.

    Tweeters are something I would really like to here before I bought them. I can tell you from experience that Polks are smooth.

    Now there are a few metal domes (very few) that sould pretty good. MBQuart makes a nice metal dome. But I would still insist on hearing them first.

    Thanks, I just can not beleive no one has used the ES-01 tweets!
