Thanks, I did Not know that. I'll fix that here pretty quick While I have your attention, how do you screen capture video? I've tryed a couple of things and failed. First I ended up with a black screen. I figured it had something to due with Hardware Acceleration, so I disabled it. I tryed again, What I captured could not be played back. (even though it was supposed to be saved as an .avi) I tryed windows media player, Divx Player and Quicktime. I'm still missing something. If you get bored hollar back at me. Almost forgot Cool Desk Top Heres Mine
Yes i agree, computer cases are like vacuums, they suck air in but also push it back out the other end, it's a good idea to take the cover off your tower and clean the fan on top of your processor every once in a while, at least once a year. When that fan gets clogged then your processor heats up more and it will slow down your computer. Heat is the enemy to processors and chips. Nero burning rom has screen capture for video
I have a 7200 RPM 200GB Western Digital hard drive, i think.. but i formatted it then split it into 2 partitions, the drive letters end up being C: and D: On the first drive i made it about 50 gb and put windows and all my programs, the second half drive D: is about 150 GB and it is just blank formatted for NTFS file system, just like the windows side. Now when my computer gets bogged down with crap and i need to format because things are screwing up, i just wipe the windows side, drive C: and reinstall windows and everything fresh, not touching all my files i have collected and stored on Drive D: and everything is like new again nice and fresh and fast without losing or touching drive D; where i keep all my stuff! Cool? Sorry, tried to explain as best as i can.
To take screen shots I use ScreenHunter, free version of the software, but works like the paid version, and if you want to make a video of what you do on your desktop, then try a program like SnagIt, or My Screen Recorder Pro, there's another one I've tried just forgot the name. When you try and capture something on screen there should be no changes that you would have to make, nothing wrong with your hardware, should just work. If you need me to upload anything... When cleaning them out, you would really be amazed at what you would find inside of them, at school we were cleaning out CPUs and Keyboards, we found nails, chips, foods, paperclips, thing that would seem impossible, they're inside your computer. When blowing it out, be sure you do it outside, you will have a smoked out house.
