wow, i made it to the end of this thread lol! I think i started reading around page 100. Listen to azn, he knows his stuff! Have you tried Winisd or Bassbox Pro ?
It takes a while to get used to it but in the end the design and material of the box will be more important than the speaker.

if your port is in the middle like this...the port width where it goes along the back wall must be half the width of the port opening.

So if the port is 3.5 inches wide...then when turning 90 degrees to go along the rear wall each port must be 1.75 inches wide

i would rather do one port on the side and have both of the subs next to each other...acoustic coupling, but you prolly won't hear much of a difference...one L port is easier to contruct also

Then just put a brace between the subs

How would I make the brace? just cut a rectangle out of the piece leaving it like a 2" frame rectangle?

A simple 5 inch deep brace that spans from the bottom to top will work fine...

Well now I'm tempted to use two 400.1's and one 350.2 instead of the 400.1 and 700.5... it just doesn't sit right in my mind having the amps different, I'm too anal lol. Could I run all 3 amps off of the 1/0 gauge wire? The reason I don't want to use the 4 gauge for the 350.2 is because it's not very long, and limits me to having the amp mounted on the back of the seat like the 400.1 is now. I figured I'd pull it out, measure it, add say 4-5 feet, and buy that much 1/0 gauge amp power wire, and use the the old 4 gauge for the wire coming out of the distribution block and grounds. (And buy more 1/0 guage for the big three of course)

Oh yeah, and what about a single chamber 5ft3 with a 6" port (flared to I think around 9.25") 9" long tuned to 35 Hz.

0 guage can handle about 300-350 amps of current depending on length...you will be fine with those three amps.

I told you to use two 400.1!! haha...you love anal yes

I'd try to get two 6 inch ports in there...but one will do. Two is better

Perhaps he hit the 9 instead of the 0...

Viking, what do you think, single slot port or single round port?

    I wouldn't even run 9 guage for 300 watts

Do what is easiest....either will achieve the SAME goal......I like slotted ports myself though...just a trademark i had uyears ago!

Whatever will work best easy...if I want to do some major port area I'll do slot vents cuz they are easier to bend...but I'm starting to like the look of round ports

Well I think I'm going to order my stuff today...

    kicker 400.1
    kicker 350.2
    kicker cvr12
    cdt 5.25" components
    knukonceptz 1/0 gauge

Now I just need to figure out what to do for the power/ground distribution.

Should I use a distribution block (not fused) for the 3 ground wires?
What size mini-ANL fuses should I get for the power distribution block (two 400.1's and one 350.2)?

I was thinking this for the power and this for the ground. Does this look good? Is it okay I'm only using one of the two 1/0 gauge inputs/outputs on both of the blocks? Is that what I should do for the grounds, have each 4 gauge amp ground go into that ground distribution block and have a single 1/0 guage actually ground into the car?

    that grounding idea will work.

That fused distro block will do also...I would just get some 60 amp fuses for your distro block...they will do fine

Okay, if the ground and power distribution blocks will work, and I just need some 60 amp mini-anl fuses then there's just a couple more things I need to know and I can start ordering this stuff...

What do I do about RCA's and remote wire?

    This is my head unit.

It says 3 sets of preap outputs... but when I went on panasonic's website it said dual outputs.
