Kicker L5 Solobaric 12" Subwoofer

yes, getting hit with bills left, right and center lol, at least my drums are paid for another year, was getting worried about that, and i got this box out of pawn to make some cash. Should double my money on this anyways. The dimensions are 29" long x 15" high x 18" deep.

I know what you are saying though pedro these things hit harder than most dual 12 inch boxes. I put a pretty steep price so it probably won't sell right away, maybe i will be able to keep it. Two of those in a custom box with the orion amp would be nice! Will see what happens.

 

The guy i sold the kicker box to came by to pick it up. So he opens his trunk and he has the exact same kicker and enclosure in there already. He turns it sideways and puts mine in there sideways beside his, took up the whole trunk now. I said to him so are you going to get a box for these subwoofers and he's like no just going to leave them like that. So i said ok then...lol He had a fair size audiobahn amp and said he wanted to run it at 1 ohm, i warned him but he insisted lol.

 

Well, i played it for him when he got here and then he hooked it up in his trunk also so it's a done deal. No Returns now lol. I hooked up this crappy box in my trunk and it sounds better than all of my boxes so far, what the hell. And it's only running 200 watts rms, 100 watts per coil. Is it the tuning? What would this box be tuned to roughly?

I know this is crazy, i need to find out why exactly and duplicate it for my system but with a bigger box and amp. Can it be the subwoofer also or more the box. It even sounds better than when i had the two mtx in a ported box with the Orion XTR 9002 and better than the kicker L5 and L7. I will get the exact measurements.
