This install was done by me and help from a buddy for a salesman at my job. It took awhile because of our day jobs. So we mostly only had a few hours each night to work on it. We also didnt have enough room in my garage to work or some of the right tools, but we managed to get the job done.

Heres a list of what went into the M3:

JL 1000/1 Class D Monoblock Amplifier
    JL 13W7- D1.5 Subwoofer
    Dynamat X-treme
    Monster Cable Interlink RCA's
    Monster Cable Speaker Wire
    Y-Adapters
    MB Quart RAA4200 Amplifier
    MB Quart Crossovers
    Tsunami Hybrid 20-farad Capacitor
    JL CleanSweep CL441dsp
    Ipod Connector
    White LED's
    White EL Wire

The panels, sub box, floor, and the amp rack were all custom made. The sub box was covered in vinyl, which was something different. But it complimented the interior very nice. Inside the trunk, the two panels on the sides are removable. One covers the battery and the other is just to get to some of the wiring. EL wire surrounds the crossovers and inside the sub box. Theres also two white LED's that are inside the amp rack. And yes the car wasnt vacuumed when the pictures were taken and the labels werent removed from the crossovers. Otherwise it would look alot cleaner.

    Opinions.....questions...comments?

BTW, it sounds really clean and the vibrations are kept to a minimal. For a job that was kinda planned as you go, I think it turned out great. And we had limited trunk space to work with, so thats why the two amps were mounted on top of each other. These are just some of the pictures, but theres too many to post.

Nice Equipment! Looks like a lot of work, nice job! What's a roll of that dynamat worth? It just sticks on?

    Thanks.

Well 36 sq. feet is $250. It was plenty to do the whole inside of the trunk and the lid. If it was my car, I would have used something cheaper like Fatmat or B-Quiet. But this guy needed to have the "best of the best". It just sticks on and use a roller to apply more pressure to it.

thats a nice set up.it looks like you may have been able to mount the amps in front of the sub.maybe even get some passive cooling too.

Nope we couldnt mount it there either. The rear seats fold back. As it is right now, it just barely clears the sub. The sub box really took up alot of room. But hey this is what the guy wanted.

Thanks and yeah I know what you mean. I was just explaining why we couldnt mount them there. No hard feelings at all.

    Yea, that looks real clean.

(I'm not even gonna guess at this question)
What are the things on the left and right side of the sub box.

thiose are the passive xovers for the speakers.

they go after the amps output.since he has 4, 2 way componants(woofer and tweeter)they each get the proper frequency so the dont blowup.

    did that help any sl0wm?

Yes, so it's just keeping a certain ammount of power going to them.

If that's right then ofcourse it helped
    thanks.
