Well...yes this will sound a lot better than your current bandcrap box...and more output and more efficient than a sealed box.

If you want more output at a low volume than turn the gain up.

What vehicle is this going into???

Damm Azn, your right on the money. I might have added a 1/2 cu ft for the fun of it but you did good:D Tuning for the Suzuki at 40 Hz? I would assume that the small passenger compartment might need slightly higher tuning, but we will go with your recommendation of 40Hz

    Damm good job Azn:D

Thanks Ranger...I love messing around on WinISD...when I'm bored, instead of playing games I design some different boxes I may build.

I would have suggested a little bigger box but I wasn't sure how much space he wante to take up and 3 cu ft after port displacement was a good compromise between a good box and it not being too big

I guess being on the safe side is a good Idea. The box does need to fit in the car. If the slot port makes the box too big switch to a single 6-inch or two 4-inch ports. Size was a concern when I did my sons box, thats why we used a single 6 inch port.

yeah...but after the box you designed me...I am addicted to designing boxes with huge ports...I love it

    Thank you Ranger...a lot

Im not sure exactly what size my trunk is, I'd say its about the same size as a honda civics though.

The Dimensions on this Box is 34-inches wide, 12-1/2-inches tall, and 16-1/2-inches deep. This give me an internal volume of 3.1 cu.ft.

The port is a 6-inch diameter 10-1/2-inches long. If it will fit in your car it will work

Routered corners...thats attentiion to detail that i like.

Forget staples, imagine what happens when we hit screws. Every now and then one is not counter sunk far enough.

    That will get your attention.

Yea, that sounds great and should fit. Like I said before though, this will be my first box, is there anything import that I should do while I build it?

all ways pre drill your holes when screwing things together.

Yep, predrill, and also just screw them in tight enough to pull the wood together tight, dont stip them out. use good ol wood glue, applied nicely to both mating surfaces in a thin layer.
