my dream car is a black 69 SS camaro with a big ole 350. Blower sticking way out of the hood with tires wider than a shopping cart lol.
This thread got way off topic. Nothing like a Dyer 6-71, two Carter AFB's with a couple of velocity stacks. That says "I mean business" I'm showing my age again ain't I?
my pop used to have a 69 or 70 road runner.i dont remember much about it.i was 1and a half when i rode in it from new york to tampa. it had the 360 or 390.lime green with a black half vinal roof. it had an all black interior.my mom told me that we made that trip from NY to FL in 17 hours!! is that right.his avrage speed was in the triple digits.140mph came up in the conversation.now mind you this was in 72. next to no cops around and the good ole CB radio to keep us out of jail. when smoky and the bandit came out you should have seen them go at it.reminissing about the "TRIP".after that my mom and i would call him BANDIT.and rightly so.MAN HE HAD A LEAD FOOT,and loved fast cars.allways had a new vette for the year.from 73 to79 or so.
It was the only SuperCharger Builder back in the day http://www.dyersblowers.com/187/1658.html Those were the days
Bugcatcher with the blower, velocity stacks on the Holleys perched atop the Weiand Tunnel Ram. But, I digress. Agree on the Dyer. And, those were the days.
HOLY SH!T those are some uber sexy blowers...damn I'd take one of those over an eaton or other big name one anyday
Damn those are cheep. As I was reading I saw Power Handling: 25 Watts. Another question with watts. I know that the power is measured in watts, subs are like 1000 watts. What happends if you turn it up and it goes over the 25 watts? Can it go louder then 25 watts.
loudness is not measured in watts...watts in a unit for power Depends on how you install it and high pass it
