Hello Everyone, I love this site! I have been customizing cars and trucks for a few years now but have no expierince with subs and amps. I can handle decks and video equipment but am just getting started on the subwoofer side of things. I have a 2006 Nissan Titan Crew Cab with a JL Audio stealth box, a rockford fosgate T2000 amp, a directed audio digital capacitor, and a JVC KD AVX2 deck.
Welcome AK!!!!!!! We will do what we can to help ya out...... (they have "digital" caps now????? ) Good to know someone from the land of the top secret government installation called HARP!!!!!!!!
Welcome AK...glad to have you here Unless you only have that capacitor for looks...I would suggest you sell it.
LOL!!!! No apology needed, the new terms they come out with nowadays are beyond beleivable anymore, i would find it very beleivable if they called a cap a "digital cap" in this day of marketing schemes!
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16751 Viking here is your "digital cap"
So, this cap, it stores the current in the digital domain, as opposed to the analog domain? And if so, shouldnt the power wires be fibre optic instead of copper? and if the digital cap is truely digital, wont it only work with a digital amp in a digital car with a digital electrical system? Sorry AKtanker!!!! we get carried away at times!!!! Not making fun of your cap, just being a bunch of clowns!!!!
Viking...this digital cap can be integrated into the standard electrical system if you buy the optional adjustable chi regulating rosin core heat transfuser
