Nah not yet. I still have to carpet the false floor and edead the trunk. I'm going to try to order either 75 or 100 sq. ft. of the v1SE² tonight... I hate not being old enough to have my own credit card... I always have to wait until one of my parents is "ready".

    bahh....

I want to build another box lol. But my friend won't let me touch his godly GTO and none of my other friends understand the concept of "It's the enclosure not the subwoofer." They'd rather drop 700 bucks on two alpines in some crappy Q logic sealed box and get a 400 watt amp wired to a high ohm load pushing 200 watts.

lol damn...well Eazy have you let any of your friends listen to your box and see how it sounds with one 12 and 400 watts??

Are theirs as loud or louder than yours??

Not yet... I don't want many people knowing about it for obvious reasons. I wish I could compare my sub with my cousins... (the one I was really reffering to with the alpines)... but he lives 1,100 miles away.

    About sound deadening...

Do those roof materials and peel and seal and all those really smell bad? Or is that just exagerated?

I think I'm going to take some small strips of wood or MDF or whatever and make a trim border on the false floor... that way the sub box will sit snugly inside the border and not slide around in the trunk.

People on the lowrider site I go on are telling me there won't be any difference between peel and seal and something like dynamat extreme. They said both will smell a little for a little while. What do you guys think?

They said peel and seal is 45 mils thick and about $1.09 per sq. ft. at the local hardware store... and no shipping.

edead is 60 mils thick and $1.28 per sq. ft. plus heavy shipping and wait.

Um...eDead is a lot better....they don't know what they are talking about.

eDead will stay forever if you put it on right and prep the surface
