i have 2 brand new eclipse 8810dvc subs i bought a few years ago and never used them there still in the box now im going to use them i just need to find a amp to power them i dont know to much about car audio can someone help me find a amp that will power these subs perfer eclipse
any good NAMEBRAND amp with around 200 or more watts per channel should do fine. what is your budget?
it will...what impedance are the subs?? I'm guessing dual 4 ohm..so yea that amp will power those nicely in 2 ohm stereo
if you have dual 4 ohm coils.you can wire them in either 4 ohms mono or 1 ohm mono.so find an amp that has the power output you want for either load, and in your price range.
i think the amp azn showed should work real nicely with those subs now your also gonna need a box for the subs to perform in as well, now you cant just take any ol'box its gotta match the subs specs w/ the box
Choose an amp that is close to the speakers RMS power rating. You typically can not go wrong with brands like Fosgate, Kicker, Kenwood Etc. (and a few others) Don't forget that 90% of your performance comes from your enclosure, NOT your amp or your speakers
