Ok from what I can tell I have 4" speakers in the front dash firing up at the windshield and 5x7 speakers in the rear above the jump seats. I was look for some nice coaxial's to put in there. So this is where I need help. I orginally wanted to go with the Pioneer REVs but they dont make a 4" speaker. I really dont want to spend more than 100 dollars per set so I came across Clif Designs and they are pretty affordable. Was looking at their TX line (middle line) and thought that may be perfect as they make both a 4" and 5x7". My amp is rated at 60watts rms @ 4 ohm (JBL). the CD 4" want 60 but the 5x7 wants 75. The REVs want 60. So maybe mix the CD 4" for the front and REV for the rear? I dunno what do yall think I should do?

On a side note there is both a Pioneer and a Clif Designs dealer in town so I can buy locally either set.

Well my friend has some Clarion 4 inch plates...they are very nice and get pretty loud just on his Pioneer deck...we're gonna amp them soon here though so they'll really scream

For a 4 inch woofer and a tweeter on a plate they do get pretty loud and sound so nice

you know looking at the clif designs I may end up trying them out. For one, wouldnt have to worry about cutting or messing something up heh. Another reason is they come with 5 year warranties... I have never heard of that kind of factory warranty from a speaker. Going to try their PX line of speakers as they are very cost effective. Going to cost me about 100 dollars or so for all 4 speakers. I also like the ability to point the tweeter any direction tilting up to 30 degrees.

Here is a link to their site.

Honostly they did an excellent job with their website.. i really enjoy it.

    on a side note...

ALL of their amps are 1 ohm stable in all channels... wttttffff. Seriously.. look at them..

im still in a mental debate on my speakers. I made another thread looking at the other speakers I seem to be interested in. So its either Clif Designs, MA Audio, Polk Audio, or JBL speakers. Soon as my Lincoln sells ill be making my purchases on speakers so I have about a week or so.
