What parts do you buy on-line?

    I've just finished building a new web store to compliment our retail store and would like some input. We can't afford to sell pioneer or other name brands so I've been concentrating on selling parts. I've placed some products and have been searching the web to making our prices competitive as possible, so please don't let a MSRP scare you when you see it. Here's the two questions I would like you to answer for me, though any helpful comments are welcome;

What are the parts you look for on-line the most?
What parts can't you find on-line that you want?

What exactly do you mean by parts???? Wiring, fuses, transistors, diodes, relays, terminals??????

Yes we are selling wiring, fuses, relays, terminals, capacitors, breakers, fuses holders, power distributution blocks, power inverters, subsonic filters...

I have most of the Stinger and Hooker Audio parts on-line now and am working on Street Glow products next. I'm here asking because I'd like to know what to put up next.

    You want THAT much!!!!

I cruised around a little bit, to be honest with you, your prices seem a little steep!!! I was in the industry years ago.........I am sure prices have gone up, but we used to sell that SAME terminal for 3.99, and our cost was only 1.79.......

What do the rest of you guys think? Price wise? You do have a nice selection of products.....You might wanna look into getting some installation kits........

While i am at it, do you sell wholesale to other retailers across the country?

"I've placed some products and have been searching the web to making our prices competitive as possible, so please don't let a MSRP scare you when you see it."

I've been just trying to get product up and have been placing the MSRP per request from our distributer. We don't want to make them mad and cut us off they were very picky about us selling on-line. Which is why I've been trying to match prices on the web, though truth be told I can't beat most prices right now. Our price by the way is more than 1.79, ask me off line if you want to know.

We don't have a wholesale license so only retail sales. We have amp kits up right now and will be placing dash kits soon.

99.8% oxygen free copper with extra thick shielding. If yours is 2058 at 4 AWG than ours must be a medium strand being half yours at 4 AWG.

Thanks for the input guys! I'll continue my price cutting from the MSRP but I'd still like to know what parts you buy the most on-line and/or would like to be able to get?

To be honest with ya, i personally dont shop much on line, unless its a hard to find or rare product........I prefer to shop locally to maintain the local economy... ( I am a small town country hilljack! )

Partmaster....to tell you the truth...wire is wire. There is zero difference in the applicaiton of car audio if the wire is oxygen free or not...I already showed someone else here that

Read that article...saying OFC wire is better is like saying a Capacitor will make your system sound better and fix all your light dimming problems

"Splitting hairs, you say? Well, not according to some of the copper hype I have read, hype implying that electrons gleefully scream through your speaker cables until they unexpectedly crash into (ohmygosh!) an OXYGEN atom! That supposedly creates distortion that you can hear. Silly.

There's a reason why you don't find engineers and physicists buying $100 speaker cables. "

lol Viking it also has a part about gas filled lines...haha...remember a while back we had a discussion about that

let me tell you something about a hard time i get with audio parts at times.. many different colored wires damn it!. Like if i am running new wire to my 4 speakers around the car i don't want to sit there and use the same damn 2 colors and try to figure out which is which. Same goes with RCA cables.. grr!
